Themes and visuals

One of the best things about The Rise of Horus is the level of detail that has gone into the graphics. Thus, the visuals are stunning and are never static, not even the background ones. Behind the reels and rows, there is an ancient Egyptian temple that is the background of every spin that you will make. On the left and the right, there are sacred guards shaped like Horus that are designed in the fashion of the old Egyptian Empire. They are draped in blue and have glowing disks above their head.

To keep in line with the background and the main theme, the game elements are inspired by the Ancient world as well, thus there are 9 low-valued symbols as well as the specials all look like hieroglyphs with a twist: they are all brightly colored and exquisitely designed. When you spin, there are also bright lights that appear between the lines of the main square.

This entire sum of elements is crowned by a mellow type of music that is reminiscent of Egyptian adventures, it could very well be from an historical or adventure movie. At the bottom of the screen, you will find the user interface. In the middle, there is a big round and glowing button that is used for spinning and the others are the balance details, settings, and rules buttons.

Symbols & Payouts

Unsurprisingly, the symbols are of two types (depending on how much they value) and all of them are inspired from the Egyptian pantheon. Here’s what you’ll find in the Rise of Horus online slot.

Low-paying icons (those which look like colored hieroglyphics) multiply your bet as follows:

• 5 pink birds – 1.2x;
• 5 eagles – 1.5x;
• 5 dogs – 2x;
• 5 lions – 2.5x;
• 5 snakes – 3x.

The high-paying symbols represent deities and will multiply your wager by:

• 5 Anubis (dog headed god) – 6x;
• 5 Seth (snake god) – 8x;
• 5 Sekhmet (lioness goddess) – 15x;
• 5 Eagles (eagle god) – 20x.
