Themes and Visuals

Many providers have tried re-creating the Irish luck theme in their games, but most of them couldn’t capture its essence. But the creators of the 9 Pots of Gold free online slot managed to give the players that mystical feeling of reaching the end of the rainbow. Legend says that the leprechauns keep their riches hidden in pots that are located at the end of the rainbow. As the name implies, if you’re lucky enough, you will get the chance to find the legendary treasure by playing this slot.

The design team at Gameburger Studios used the most representative animations, icons, sounds and visual elements that fit the theme perfectly. The background is made of traditional St. Patrick elements, like the lucky clover. This game has classic graphics, but its simplicity is what makes it great. The flashy animations combined with the lucky chimes used as sound effects make the game more dynamic. Rainbows fall as the reels are spinning and, if you get the golden pots, there is a colourful animation that lets you know you’ve reached the secret treasure.

9 Masks of Fire slot is another interesting title from Gameburger Studios that is worth checking out. It has similar gameplay, but it comes with a more traditional theme.

Symbols

The icons are this game’s charm. They are represented by traditional St. Patrick’s Day symbols and the iconic 7s decorated with 4-leaf clovers:

• 5 symbols of three 7s pay 2250 coins;
• 5 symbols of two 7s pay 1200 coins;
• 5 symbols of a single 7 pay 450 coins;
• 5 Harps award you with 195 coins;
• 5 Leprechaun Hats will reward you 120 coins;
• 5 Lucky Clovers or Bars will pay 60 coins.

Combining 3 different kinds of 7s will pay 195 coins for 5 icons in a line.

Gameplay

Leaving the great luck theme aside, this free online slot has unique gameplay. It comes with 20 fixed pay lines and has a classic 5 reels and 3 rows placement. There are the Wild symbols that connect the missing symbols and you should always look for the pot of gold icon, which is essentially the main special feature of this game. Finding three or more pots will reward you with a serious cash prize that increases with the number of icons you get.
